Protein Balls

One of the best ways to have a quick, nourishing, ready to eat snack to help you power through those busy days!



Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats

  • 2 scoops protein powder (I use vanilla flavour)

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 2 tablespoons nut or seed butter (I use sunflower seed butter or almond butter)

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 1 Tsp Vanilla

  • 1 tablespoon chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut

Directions

Mix together all ingredients in a mixer until smooth and sticky and all ingredients are integrated . Use a teaspoon amount to create balls by rolling between 2 palms and place on parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes before eating. I keep mine in the freezer in a closed container.

If you don't want to eat them too cold, then take out 10 minutes before consuming.


*Note: The taste will vary based on flavour of protein powder.
