One of the best ways to have a quick, nourishing, ready to eat snack to help you power through those busy days!
Ingredients
3/4 cup rolled oats
2 scoops protein powder (I use vanilla flavour)
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons nut or seed butter (I use sunflower seed butter or almond butter)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
Directions
Mix together all ingredients in a mixer until smooth and sticky and all ingredients are integrated . Use a teaspoon amount to create balls by rolling between 2 palms and place on parchment paper. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes before eating. I keep mine in the freezer in a closed container.
If you don't want to eat them too cold, then take out 10 minutes before consuming.
