These cookies aren't too sweet but they're definitely loaded with the good stuff. The chunky texture and unique base has been a favourite for many friends I have baked this for.
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup salted butter, melted
1 large egg
1 cup chopped/crushed oreos
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
In a stand mixer on medium speed, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add the egg and mix until combined. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Slowly pour your flour mixture into your butter mixture, and mix on medium speed until fully combined. Do not over mix. Fold in the Oreo chunks, white chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips. Using a cookie scoop (or make balls approximately the size of 2 tablespoons), place cookie dough onto the baking sheet leaving 2 inches between. Press down slights with extra Oreo piece on top. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until slightly browned. This recipe makes approximately 23 cookies.
